CLARKSVILLE, TN - The Flyers shot a team total of 343, a remarkable 23 stroke improvement from the first round, which allowed them to move into 12th place. For the tournament, the women shot a total of 709.

The highest finisher for the Flyers was freshman Katie Dempsey. Dempsey shot an 84 for the opening round and made a 5 stroke improvement today, totaling a 79. She led the team throughout the tournament and cracked the top 20, finishing in a tie for 11th.

Casey Peterson shot a respectable 177 for the tournament to place her in a tie for 56th place, moving up four spots from yesterday's opening round. Fellow freshman Cari DeAngelis finished 5 strokes behind Peterson to end in 61st place.

In 66th place for the Flyers was Katie Gallagher, who shot an 89 today, an 11 stroke improvement from her first day of play. Rounding out the competition for the team was freshman Paige Smith, who finished in 72nd place.
