TOLEDO, Ohio - Michelle Borchers led UD in Saturday's action at the Toledo Rockets Fall Classic, Saturday. Borchers came in on the back nine with a +6 to lead the Flyers with an 86.

Dayton currently stands in 14th place as a team at the the par-72, 6,092-yard Heather Downs Country Club in Toledo.

Borchers improved by two strokes after her opening round 88. Laura Grande shot a +14 in round one and a a second-round +16 to tie Borchers for the lead among Flyers.

Danielle Hawksley and Melissa Gaus are one-stroke back of Borchers and Grande for UD after two complete rounds.

Borchers and Grande are tied for 66th overall at the 14-team tournament.

The Flyers will tee off in round three on Sunday in a 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

Eastern Michigan leads the team standings +16, while EMU's Catherine Fortin holds the overall lead at -6. She's the only player under par.
