    PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Junior Katie Gallagher fired a season-best 75 to help the Dayton Flyers move up to eighth after round two of the 2009 CAA Women's Golf Championship.

    In round two Gallagher had par or better in 13 of the 18 holes played. It was her personal best at the CAA Championship and her best round since carding a 73 at the UD Invitational in 2007.

    Sophomore Julie Pouliquen continued her strong play added her second straight round of 79. Pouliquen is in 22nd overall after two rounds of play.

    Speaking of identical scores, freshman Clara Ang matched her first round with another 81 in round two. Ang had a team-leading three birdies in the second round.

    Junior Paige Smith bounced back from an 87 in the first round to card an 82 in the second. Meanwhile, junior Katie Dempsey rounded out the scoring with a 92 in round two.

    The third and final round will take place on Sunday, April 19 from the Callaway Gardens course in Pine Mountain, Ga. Fans will be able to follow the tournament with live scoring at Golfstat.com.
