LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Junior Lindsey Grueter tallied a ninth place finish to lead the Dayton women's golf team to a seventh place effort overall at the Bellarmine Women's Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

Grueter carded a two-day score of 167 (86-81) at the Par 72, 5,805-yard Persimmon Ridge Golf Club to lead a group of five Flyers in the tournament.

Classmate Melissa Gaus tied for 17th place after rounds of 91 and 84 for a combined score of 175.

Sophomore Laura Grande followed with a total of 193 to tie for 37th place.

Senior Melissa Juve and freshman Michelle Borchers rounded out the UD competitors with totals of 197 and 200 respectively. Juve tied for 39th place while Borchers finished 41st overall.

Dayton returns to action next Monday and Tuesday as it takes part in the UC/UD Collegiate Invitational. The two-day tournament will be hosted at Hueston Woods State Park in Oxford, Ohio.
