PERRY PARK, Ky. - The University of Dayton women's golf team battled through cold and windy conditions at the Perry Park Golf Club to finish 15th out of 17 teams at the NKU Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The Flyers will continue their play by head South in the "Bluegrass State" for the Bellarmine Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in Louisville.

UD shot 707 as a team in the two-day tournament hosted by Northern Kentucky University. Junior Melissa Gaus was the top Flyer performer as she finished tied for 56th place with a combined score of 171 (89-82).

Classmate Lindsey Greuter was one shot back with a 171 after carding two consecutive rounds of 86 to tie for 59th place.

Freshman Michelle Borchers finished in 73rd place with a 182 (96-86) while Danielle Hawksley fired a 183 (89-94) and tied for 74th place for Dayton.

Senior Melissa Juve rounded out the Flyer competitors with a two-day total of 190 (95-95) to tie for 81st place overall.
