Named the University of Dayton's NCAA Woman of the Year...won the Coaches Award for the second consecutive season...served as the team co-captain...serves as a member of UD's Student Athlete Advisory Committee and has been on the Dean's List every semester...finished third on the team in stroke average at 85.8, second in total rounds played with 16 and had the best individual round on the squad with a 74 at the IPFW Fall Classic...began the year at the Youngstown State Invitational shooting rounds of 89 and 85 to finish in a tie for 31st...placed in 36th at the Butler Invitational shooting 88-81-85 for a total of 254...tied for 16th at the Detroit Invitational with an 87 and 82 first and second round...best finish came at the IPFW Fall Classic when she was tied for third...began the spring season at the Bellarmine Invitational tying for 14th after tallying rounds of 90 and 85...finished in 52 at the Longwood Invitational with a 260 after recording scores of 89-87-84...closed out her UD career at the Colonial Athletic Association Championship shooting 93-88-85 for a total of 266.
2005-2006
Gaus competed in seven tournaments for the Flyers...her low round of the year came at the Great Smokies Collegiate, where she shot a 76...her best finish of the season was 29th at the UD Fall Invitational...won the Coach's Award honoring her leadership, academic success and community service efforts.
2004-2005
Shot a season-low round of 81 in the second round of the Lady Falcon Invitational at Bowling Green...finished the Lady Falcon Invitational with a 165 over two days to place 21st...finished sixth at the Flyer Fall Invitational with a round of 82...came in tied for 18th at the Bellarmine Invitational with a one-round 90.
2003-2004
Shot 169 at the Western Carolina Invitational posting rounds of 84 and 85...finished 50th at the Western Michigan with a score of 180 at the two-round event.
High School
Captain of her golf and track teams...led team to third place finish in state in '01-'02...named All-County three years in a row...she was in National Honors Society...academic All-State Honorable Mention for golf and track...Gaus held perfect attendance for her four years of High School.
