The Flyer and Bearcat women tipped off a doubleheader of UD-UC basketball on Thursday with their game at UD Arena.

 Cara Wright led all players with a career-high and a Division I school-record 22 rebounds.

 Kiki Lund drained three treys en route to 13 points for the Flyers.
Despite the loss, Jim Jabir has led Dayton to its most wins before Christmas (6) since the 2002-03 season.

 Nikki Oakland scrambles for a loose ball. Overall, UD pulled down 38 rebounds and forced 15 Cincinnati turnovers.

 Terri Ramsey had a pair of steals in 28 minutes of action.
