DAYTON, Ohio - The Dayton Flyers women's basketball team will return to action Tuesday, Nov. 25 at Navy. Dayton continues its nine-game road stretch and will look to pick up its third-straight win in its first-ever meeting with the Midshipmen. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET in a game that can be followed with live stats at www.DaytonFlyers.com.

UD enters the contest having won its last two games. The Flyers moved to 2-2 on the season after a 69-49 win at Butler on Friday. Four Flyers scored in double-figures as freshman Justine Raterman led UD in the game with her second career double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds).

Dayton held Butler to just 29 percent shooting (18-of-62) from the field and out-rebounded the Bulldogs 40-32. Overall this season, the Flyers are shooting a solid 44-of-65 (.677) from the line.

Sophomore Kristin Daugherty has scored in double-figures every game this season and leads the team in scoring with 20.5 ppg. She provides offensive support from downtown and from the line on the strength of 61 percent shooting and 95 percent shooting, respectively. She put up a career-high 31 points in the win versus St. Mary's on Monday and tallied 15 points and seven rebounds in the Butler game.

SCOUTING NAVY
The Midshipmen (2-3) are coming off two-straight losses in the Tyler Ugolyn Columbia Classic on Nov. 21 and Nov. 22. Navy dropped a game versus Texas State, 77-58, and host-school Columbia, 54-53. Whitney Davidson (13.4 ppg) and Cassie Consedine (10.2 ppg) are the team's scoring leaders. Davidson scored a game-high 17 points versus Columbia and with her career-high tying 18-point effort against Texas State, was named to the All-Tournament Team. Consedine earned her first double-double of the season (11 points, 12 rebounds) against Columbia and leads the team in blocks with 10 so far this year.

The Mids are coached by Stefanie Pemper who is in her first season at the helm. Pemper came to Navy from Bowdoin (Div. III) and boasts a 235-48 (.830) in her 10 years as a head coach.

Following Tuesday's game, UD will drive north to Columbus, Ohio for the Buckeye Classic Nov. 29-30. UD will face Central Michigan in the first round. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET.
