JUSTINE RATERMAN NAMED INAUGURAL A-10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

DAYTON, Ohio - Freshman Justine Raterman was named the inaugural Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week on Monday after finishing the weekend averaging 15.5 points per game and 13.0 rebounds per game. Competing against two nationally-ranked opponents this past weekend Raterman carried the Flyers on Sunday versus No. 25 Old Dominion. The Versailles, Ohio native tallied the first double-double of her career scoring 27 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in the game. In the 39 minutes that she played, she shot 11-of-21 from the field and 2-of-5 from three point range to lead all scorers. In addition, she also tied for a game-high four blocks, tallied two steals, and one assist in the contest. Of the 27 points she scored, 16 came in the first half alone. Versus No. 13 Texas on Saturday, the Flyer rookie collected a game-high 11 rebounds and added four points. Raterman also had an assist and a steal on the night. The Flyers are back in action in the World Vision Classic on Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. ET. Dayton will face St. Mary's in the final day of the tournament.
