BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - The Dayton Flyer women's basketball team won its second straight game on its five-game, 10-day trip through Eastern Europe Thursday with a 73-63 win over Cevakata Vologda.

UD is now 2-1 on the trip after its victory over a Russian team, which was spending time in the Slovakian town of Myjava, about two hours North of the capital of Bratislava. The Flyers will wrap up their trip with a game each on Saturday and Sunday in Vienna.

Dayton was paced by four players with double-figure scoring efforts for the second straight game. Jennifer Strong led the Flyers in scoring for the third time in as many games with 17 points. Cara Wright posted 12 points of her own while Terri Ramsey had 12 and Karah Cloxton added 10 of her own.

The team began the day with a tour of Bratislava's downtown including the Presidential Residence, St. Martin's Cathedral and Bratislava Castle with a tour given by residents of Bratislava, the Lokaj family.

UD will leave Slovakia Friday and head South to Austria where it will spend the final three days of its trip in Vienna.
