April 15, 2008
A group of six freshmen will join the University of Dayton women's basketball program next season following the program's second ever trip to the WNIT. UD will be looking to build upon a modern-program record 25 victories next season with a group that is among the best recruiting classes in the country and finished their high school careers with strong senior seasons. Dayton's incoming class is not just filled with a large quantity of players, but quality as well. All three of the Ohio natives made the list of Top 25 prep seniors in the State by the Ohio Girls Basketball Report. Also, all three of the Kentucky prep players were listed among the best players in the Bluegrass State by the Rick Bolus' High Potential® Basketball Recruiting Service, Inc.
