FLYERS SERVE AT CHARITY FUNDRAISER
April 13, 2005 DAYTON, OH - Members of the University of Dayton donated their time Thursday to the SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park. SunWatch hosted a Special Preview Reception for Irma Bailey's Reservation Indian Arts and Crafts Sale, with the Flyers serving as jewelry models. SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park, a National Historic Landmark, is just west of the UD neighborhood. It is a visitor and educational center for archaeology and Native American Culture. It is part of the Dayton Society of Natural History which also includes the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, an interactive science learning facility. On Thursday, April 14, 2005 the SunWatch Association Board hosted a Special Preview Reception for Irma Bailey's Reservation Indian Arts and Crafts Sale. Irma Bailey is a nationally renowned dealer from Albuquerque, New Mexico who will be offering rare museum quality products from Native American artisans carefully selected from her extensive inventory representing the best of the Southwest. The show continued through the April 17, open free to the public. |
