Although the game will be the final meeting of the 2005-06 regular season both teams will be playing with tournament intensity as Atlantic 10 rivals Dayton and Xavier square off on Sunday in Cincinnati at 2 p.m. ET. The game can be followed live with Gametracker and live audio from Newstalk 1290 WHIO on www.DaytonFlyers.com.

The Flyers (16-10, 8-7 A-10) enter the regular season finale in sixth place among the Atlantic 10 standings and can lock up the sixth seed in the 2006 A-10 Championships with a win over the Musketeers (19-7, 10-5 A-10), who have already clinched a First Round bye in the Tourney. A UD loss could drop the Flyers to the seventh seed if La Salle would also beat Massachusetts.

Dayton enters following a 70-55 loss on Friday to Duquesne despite a 24-point, 11-rebound effort from Cara Wright on Senior Night at UD Arena.

Wright reached the 20-point plateau for the seventh time this season while also recording her conference leading 14th double-double of the season. The senior forward shot 11-of-14 from the field for the Flyers who remained in sole possession of sixth place in the A-10 standings ahead of Massachusetts, La Salle and Richmond.

Also on Senior Day, the trio of Angela Cape, Terri Ramsey and Lyndsey DeWitt each scored for Dayton in their final game at UD Arena. Cape scored six points on the strength of 4-for-6 shooting from the free throw line. Ramsey tallied four points, four rebounds and three assists while DeWitt scored four points of her own.

Sophomore Karah Cloxton dished out at least five assists for the third time in the last four games while classmate Brittany Holterman had five points and three rebounds on the night.

Following Sunday's game, UD will begin play in the 2006 Atlantic 10 Championship on Friday, March 3 in Philadelphia. All games will be played at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse on the campus of Saint Joseph's University. If Dayton is the seventh seed they will play at approximately 4 p.m. ET. If it is the sixth seed, UD will tipoff at 6 p.m. ET.
