"We played two good teams very well and I think we improved. We had a lot of good individual performances and I thought our team defense was great."

Second Half Adjustments

"Vera Jones did a great job preparing us for their (Samford) offense. I thought we just kinda tightened things up on the weak side. In the first half we weren't getting help on the weak side. I thought we did a great job on their cuts."

"I think it is about us executing more that anything else. In the beginning we were missing foul shots. Then all of a sudden a light goes on and says `we are going to lose this game.' Then it's amazing how we make all those shots in the second half."

Confidence heading into A-10 schedule

"This is a great tournament for us. This has been a great trip. I think back to the summer in Europe and up to now. We just keep getting better. We keep improving. We play hard. This is a great way to go into UMass."
