"I thought our defense was great. I am really proud of the kids. I don't think we could of played better defense than we just did. We took away one of their better players and I feel pretty good about that."

"They (Drexel) are a very pragmatic team. They are waiting on you to get impatient. We were able to continue to play solid defense for entire time. That's a very hard thing to do, to play defense for 30 seconds."

ON DAYTON'S OFFENSIVE EXECUTION
"Although I think that our half court offense has to improve, but I think that we have done a good job this year at getting out and getting easy layups. That was also true tonight."

"They (Akron) are going to be a tough team. They have a new coach. They are working very hard. They believe in each other and are building momentum. We have to back out with a good attitude, work really hard and defend again like we did tonight."
