Recap |  Box Score

UD HEAD COACH Jim Jabir

"I am disappointed in our second half and I could help them out more offensively. They turned up their defense and we didn't execute. Also, we lost our legs too. It has been a really long trip and I think that we ran out of gas in the second half."

On Dayton's strong play in the first half

"There are things that we can fix...we can control and we will fix. Overall, I am very proud of them. This is a quality team and we led them for most of the game. When we are a young team like we are, we need to learn how to finish."

Can you take positives out of a loss?

"I think you can take a lot of positives out of it. I think you learn a lot from a loss. I think we are a team that battles all the time. We are a fun team to watch, because we are always working. When we do the things we are supposed to do we can compete with a lot of teams. When we fall asleep on defense we are very average. I told the team, `you can mark this date down as the day we learned that we could play with anybody.' I truly feel that we can play with anyone."

On the high number of assists by four different players

"I think it's a reflection of our unselfishness and our skill. I think we made some great plays and I am very proud of them."

How does the team get ready for its third game in five days against Saint Louis on Sunday?

"We will show them their stuff and then get them off their feet. We need to out heart them. I expect that we will be ready to play on Sunday and we will give them everything we got."
