2008-09 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selection Casey Nance provided an immediate inside presence for Dayton as a freshman. Nance played in all 35 games, starting 33 of them. She led the Atlantic 10 in blocks per game (1.8). She averaged 6.5 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game, good for third on the team. She ranked 12th nationally among all freshmen in rebounding. Nance led the team in blocked shots (64) and was second in field goal percentage (.454). She scored in double figures eight times and posted two double-doubles. The Flyer rookie notched her first double-double on Dec. 3 at Cincinnati with 12 points and 15 rebounds and tallied her second double-double on Dec. 23 against Loyola Chicago with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Nance scored a career-high 21 points against Fordham on Feb. 10 on 10-of-11 shooting and grabbed a career-best 16 rebounds against Miami on Dec. 10.

Tri-County Coaches Association Player of the Year as a senior, when she averaged 14.8 ppg and 16.2 rpg...Led Revere High School to an 18-5 overall record and a berth in the District Semifinals...Elected First Team All-Tri-County, All-League, and All-District....McDonald's All-American Nominee...Member of the honor roll, Academic Top 20 and was the recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award while at Revere.

Daughter of Larry and Jaynee Nance...Born March 15, 1990...Has two brothers: Larry and Pete...Father, Larry Nance, played in the NBA for both the Phoneix Suns and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
