Frank Goldsberry, who coached at Chaminade-Julienne High School in Dayton from 1996-2003, was responsible for guiding the Eagles to national prominence in high school girls basketball. Goldsberry led C-J to two Ohio Division II state championships (1999, 2003) and to a number one ranking in the country in 2002. The Eagles also were Division I runners-up in 1998 and 2001. In three of the last four seasons under Goldsberry, C-J won the final AP poll. He posted an overall record of 170-16 in his seven seasons and was named Division II State Coach of the Year in 1999. He was also named the District Coach of the Year in both 1998 and 1999 and was the coach of the State Dream Team in 2001. Among Goldsberry's products include National High School Player of the Year and current Minnesota Lynx forward Tamika Williams, who helped guide Connecticut to the 2000 and 2002 NCAA Championship. He also coached Notre Dame point guard Megan Duffy and most recently Ohio State's Brandie Hoskins. He has coached six Division I players in the last eight years. Prior to his stint at C-J, Goldsberry was head coach of the boys basketball team at Northmont High School from 1993-1996. There, he posted a 42-24 overall record and led Northmont to its first district final in 20 years. Goldsberry also served as the head boys basketball coach at Tippecanoe High School for 13 years (1979-92) where he tallied a 165-112 record. While at Tippecanoe, Goldsberry was named Southwestern Rivers Coach of the Year on four occassions. Goldsberry graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Education. He went on to receive his master's degree in computer science from the University of Dayton. Goldsberry currently works as the computer resource coordinator and computer science teacher at Tipp City Exempted Village Schools in Tipp City, OH. Goldsberry and his wife Paula have four children, John, Ashley, Lindsey and Robert.
