PHILADELPHIA - Sophomore Chris Lemon was named to the Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team. It was announced by the conference on Friday.

Lemon boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA and recently finished third overall at the 2008 A-10 Championships in a school-record 24:11 to help the team to a sixth place finish overall.

Lemon has led Dayton in three races this season and has run two of his top times of the year under 25 minutes. He was named the league's Performer of the Week on Sept. 29 for running 25:10 to finish 31 out of 229 in a challenging field at the Roy Griak Invite.

The Bowling Green, Ohio native has scored in every race for Dayton since his rookie campaign. Last season he finished as the second man on Dayton's squad in four of five races.

The Flyers return to action this weekend at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. UD will travel to West Lafayette, Ind. and will race at 12:00 p.m. ET. Results can be found at www.DaytonFlyers.com following the event.
