DAYTON, Ohio - In the wake of a standout performance on Saturday at the NCAA Pre-National meet, Chris Lemon received his fifth Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week honor. The conference also announced on Monday that teammate Greg Roeth was tabbed as the A-10's Rookie of the Week.

Lemon was the first Flyer finisher in a time of 24:22 at the highly-competitive meet on the campus of Indiana State University. Facing off with some of the best runners in the nation, Lemon was able to record the second-best time of any runner from the Great Lakes Region.

In what has been one of the best individual seasons in Flyer history, the junior from Bowling Green, Oh. has now received Performer of the Week honors in five out of seven weeks this season.

Roeth, a redshirt freshman from Miamisburg, Oh., made his first appearance in the Flyer top-three at the meet. His time of 25:17 was a personal best and earned him his first conference honor as a Flyer.

The men's cross country team will now have a weekend off before gearing up for the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championships, which will be held in St. Louis, MO. The Flyers, currently ranked No. 2 in the conference coaches' poll, will be gunning for their first-ever team title.
