DAYTON, Ohio - University of Dayton sophomore Chris Lemon was named this week's Atlantic 10 Cross Country Performer of the Week after posting the fastest 8K time of the season by a Flyer on Saturday at the Roy Griak Invite.

Lemon led the Flyers for the second time this season at the race and claimed 31st out of 229 in a challenging field. The Bowling Green, Ohio native also led UD in the Flyer 5K on August 30 when he finished fifth overall in a time of 15:41.

Next up for the men's cross country squad is the All-Ohio Championships in Delaware, Ohio. Race time is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.
