DAYTON, Ohio - Junior Mike Andersen and freshman Chris Lemon both earned Atlantic 10 honors this week having been named the A-10 Performer of the Week and Rookie of the Week respectively. Andersen finished first overall at the National Catholic Invite on Friday with a school-record time of 24:36, while Chris Lemon finished fourth overall in 24:59 setting a new freshman 8k record (a record Andersen previously owned).

The pair outdistanced more than 260 runners at the meet helping the men's cross country team finish third out of 33 teams. It was the first time in program history for UD to have two runners finish in a time under 25:00 at a meet.

The Flyers return to action Saturday, September 29 as the team heads south for the Greater Louisville Classic. The meet is set to begin at 10 a.m. ET.
