CINCINNATI, Ohio - Senior Daniel Sammons recorded a new school record in the 3000 meter steeplechase by 16 seconds on Saturday at the 2007 All-Ohio Championships. Sammons finished with a time of 9:29.39, good for tenth place on his way to recording a new UD men's track record. He held the previous record (9:46.00) which he recorded at the Hurricane Invitational on March 17.

Brad Boyd and Michael Connolly competed in the 5000 meter crossing the line at 16:38.78 and 17:30.17 respectively.

In the 1500 meter run, Matt Peters (3:59.63) placed 14th and Sammons (4:05.30) crossed finished in 19th.
