COLUMBUS, OH - Eight Flyers set personal best times at Saturday's "Scarlet & Gray' Invitational in Ohio State's French Field House.

This was the final meet of the team's indoor portion of the spring season.

Freshman Matt Peters placed 4th overall in the men's mile. His personal best time of 4:23.19 was just 86-hundredths of a second slower than Dan Moroney's 1999 team indoor record. Peters led four Flyers to personal best mile times; junior Eric Contreras (4:30.02), sophomore Dan Sammons (4:33.22), freshman Tim Kaelin (4:38.65), and sophomore Dan Thompson (5:06.08).

Junior Matt Danis was the top Flyer finisher in the men's 3000m, finishing in 6th place overall , with a personal best time of 9:13.32. 3000m personal bests were also recorded by sophomores Michael Connolly (9:24.87) and Billy Przybyla (9:27.34).

The Flyers next meet, the March 25 Cedarville University Invitational, will open the outdoor portion of the spring track season.
