Senior (2004) Roberts began his senior year with some solid performances, by finishing as 5th, 3rd, and 2nd man at the Flyer 5K, Mel Brodt, and National Catholic Championships. Injury hampered him from matching these later in the season. He will leave UD holding the 2nd, 22nd and 48th positions on the Top 50 All-Time 5 Mile Performances List. His personal best of 25:29 set his junior year ranks him 2nd on the "Harrier Heroes" list. Roberts graduates as a four year letter winner. Junior (2003) Roberts led the team in first-man finishes with four. He started the season by leading the team at the Flyer 5K, earning Atlantic-10 Performer of the Week honors. He also led the team in three consecutive mid-season races at Notre Dame, Cross Country Only National Championships and Chicago Lakefront. He won the individual title at the Cross Country Only and earned an additional A-10 Performer of the Week award for running a conference leading time at the 28-team National Catholic Championships. His 25:29 personal best, set at the Chicago Lakefront Invitational, ranks as the second fastest time in Flyer Cross Country history and the most improvement of a previous PB on the team (42-seconds) this year. Roberts currently holds four "Top 50 All-Time 5 Mile Performances," three of which were run this season. Sophomore (2002) Roberts led the team in1st-man finishes with three. These included running in the lead pack at the Duquesne Invitational thru 4-miles and setting a 26:18 Personal Best at the NCAA Pre-Nationals. A 2nd-man finish at the Atlantic-10 Championship resulted in a seven-second lowering of his Personal Best to 26:11. These two times give Roberts the 37th & 46th Top-50 All Time Performance rankings. Roberts ends his sophomore season in 8th position on the Harrier Hero list and will begin his junior year in 2003 as one of only two Flyers holding Top 50 All Time Performances. Freshman (2001) Injury prevented Roberts from competing in all seven varsity races, but he made an impact on the team performances by finishing as the Flyers' 1st-man and 2nd-man, each twice. Roberts' 2nd-man finish at the Flyer 5K Challenge earned him "Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week" honors. He was the first Flyer across the finish line at the National Catholic Championships in 26:33 and at the Cross Country Only National Championships in a personal best time of 26:31.
