After not competing during his freshman season, Cory McGoldrick started off the fall season with a bang. The second year runner finished 29th overall at the Flyer 5K with a time of 16:16, and then scored again for the Flyers at the National Catholic Invitational where he posted a personal best time of 26:39 to earn a 43rd overall finish. He ended up finishing in the top seven for UD in four of seven races.

2007
Cory did not run in any varsity meets in 2007 and has four remaining seasons of cross country eligibility as a Dayton Flyer.

High School
Owns a 15:36 personal best 5k cross country time...Placed 12th at the 2006 Ohio Divison I Cross Country Championships earning the 14th fastest senior time...A sixth place '06 Amherst Regional D-I track qualifier, McGoldrick ran the 3200 meter in a time of 9:35.
