Sophomore Tom Murphy was named Men's Tennis Performer of the Week by the Atlantic 10 Conference. the Carmel, Indiana native went 3-0 this past week in singles action.

Murphy recorded a 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 win over Xavier's JR Randall on March 30, beat Juan Mas of IUPUI on April 1 by scores of 6-3, 6-0, and then took a 6-3, 6-3 decision against Duquesne's Michael Ortega on Apr. 2

In doubles, Murphy teammed with James O'Connell for a 5-2 win over Duquesne, and a 4-3 win over IUPUI. Murphy and O'Connell took a 6-1 decision over Xavier.

Dayton went 3-0 this week, as Murphy won his second Performer of the Week award of the season. The Flyers are 13-6 this spring entering Tuesday's match against Wright State.
