The Dayton men's tennis team has concluded its regular season and will enter this weekend's 2008 Atlantic 10 Championships as the No. 9 seed, it was announced Monday.

The Flyers will face eighth-seeded Rhode Island on Friday, April 4 at 8 a.m. in the first round at Club 4 Life in Monroeville, PA. UD sported an 8-14 regular season mark, including a 1-4 record against A-10 opponents.

Dayton's first-round draw is a rematch of a March 17 contest between the Flyers and the Rams during spring break in Denver, CO. Rhode Island won the match, 4-3, but Dayton was without No. 1 player Michael Rohana.

The winner will advance to face top-seeded George Washington on Friday at 2 p.m.

Seeding for the A-10 Championship is determined by a number of factors including head-to-head competition, results against common opponents, significant wins against top-75 teams, and recommended seeding submitted by each head coach.
