PHILADELPHIA - Sophomore Rex Cabrera was named Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday.

Cabrera was undefeated at both sixth singles and third doubles as the Flyers were 1-1 on the week in dual matches against George Washington and Richmond.

On Friday, Cabrera defeated GW's Daniel Balke 6-0, 7-5 in singles play and teamed up with Jamison Downs to earn an 8-3 decision in doubles action as Dayton defeated the Colonials, 5-2.

Cabrera was the lone bright spot for Dayton in a 5-2 loss to Richmond. He was victorious in singles as he beat the Spiders' Matt Stillwagon 6-3, 6-4. He is now 11-3 at fifth and sixth singles combined this season for the Flyers.

Dayton is 5-3 overall and 1-1 against Atlantic 10 opponents. The Flyers will next travel to St. Bonaventure, NY. UD will face the defending A-10 Champion Bonnies, Friday at 9 a.m. and will take on Binghamton University, Saturday at 9 a.m.
