Results

Monroeville, PA - The Dayton Flyers advanced to the final round of the Atlantic 10 Championship with a victory over rival Xavier Saturday. The Flyers won 4-1 and advance to the final match to be held Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

Tom Murphy led the team with a 6-0, 6-2 decision over Xavier's JR Randall. James O'Connell also posted a win over Rob Simpson of Xavier 7-6, 6-1 followed by a win by Rex Cabrera over Brian Schubert by a score of 7-5, 6-3.

Murphy and O'Connell teamed up for a doubles win over Randall and Jeremy Miller of Xavier by a score of 8-3. Cabrera and Jamison Downs teamed up for a win over Schubert and Reys by a decision of 8-3.

After two tough matches, the Flyers face defending Atlantic 10 champion and #1 seed in the tournament Richmond in the final match Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
