The men's tennis team was defeated by Montana, 7-0, on Saturday in its first of three spring break matches in Colorado Springs, Colo. Dayton fell to 8-10 this spring, while the Grizzlies improved to 3-1.

Dayton played without No. 1 player Michael Rohana for the second straight match. Sophomore Matt Sherman was the only Flyer to reach a third set in singles, but fell 5-7, 7-5, 1-0 (10-5) to Mikolaj Borkowski at No. 2.

Freshman Chris Riccardella cracked the lineup for the second time this spring, seeing action at No. 6 singles. He was defeated, 6-4, 6-2 by David Cysneiros.

UD was also swept in doubles. Freshmen Michael Koscielski and Bryce Warnock were the closest Flyers to winning. The duo lost to Borkowski and Cysneiros 8-5 at No. 3.

Dayton is back in action Sunday, March 16 against Air Force at 10 a.m. ET in Colorado Springs, Colo.
