Sophomore Michael Rohana produced two victories on Friday, but the Flyers men's tennis team fell to St. Bonaventure 6-1 at Dayton Center Courts. Rohana has now won three consecutive matches at No. 1 singles, but Dayton dropped its second straight match to fall to 7-8 on the season.

Rohana got the Flyers on the board with a 6-2, 2-6, 10-7 victory over Leo Mochizuki.

At No. 1 doubles, he paired with junior David Peyton for an 8-6 win over Mochizuki and Victor Lecina.

The Flyers nearly took the doubles point, but lost close matches. Junior Antonio Rodriguez and freshman Michael Koscielski were outlasted in a tiebreak, 9-8(6), at No. 3. Senior James O'Connell and sophomore Matt Sherman were also close, but fell 8-6 at No. 2.

Due to inclement weather, Dayton's match scheduled for Saturday, March 8 against Duquesne has been postponed. A make-up date has not yet been finalized.
