Olean, NY - Spurred by a pair of three-set singles wins, the University of Dayton men's tennis team bounced back from a tough loss Friday to beat Binghamton 4-3 in a match played at St. Bonaventure Saturday morning. UD had lost the evening before to the Bonnies by the same score. Oddly, Binghamton had beaten St. Bonaventure 5-2 earlier.

Binghamton took the doubles point, but the Flyers gained the win with on the strength of singles victories by #1 Rob Alteneau (7-5, 0-6, 6-1), #2 Tom Murphy (6-3, 6-4), #3 James O'Connell (6-4, 6-4), and #5 Jonathan Khoury (7-6 (10-8), 4-6, 6-3).

Dayton's #2 doubles team of Tom Murphy & James O'Connell also won 8-6.

UD, now 6-4, plays Youngstown State later on Saturday.
