DAYTON, Ohio - After its recent 1-0 upset of then-ranked No. 15 Saint Louis, the University of Dayton men's soccer team has moved up and is receiving recognition in several national polls. The Flyers (9-2-2, 3-0-1 A-10) are ranked the highest at No. 16 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com 2008 Men's Tournament 48 Ranking, which is a running attempt to project the postseason tournament qualifiers, including every automatic conference berth. Dayton is the highest ranked Atlantic 10 team ranked in this poll.

    UD, the only unbeaten men's soccer team in conference play in the A-10, is ranked 29th in the College Soccer News - Top 30 National Poll.

    The Flyers are also ranked 20th in the Soccer America Top 25 Poll.

    After moving up two spots to No. 2 in the NSCAA/adidas® Middle Atlantic Region Poll, the Flyers also received 30 votes in the NSCAA National Poll and are currently ranked No. 27

    Dayton plays host to Fordham this Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at Baujan Field. Fordham (6-5-1 overall and 2-1-0 in the A-10) is the other team to hand the nationally-ranked Billikens a conference loss (1-0 on Oct. 12 when SLU was ranked No. 9).
