UD MEN'S SOCCER ANNOUNCES 2008 SPRING SCHEDULE

The Dayton Flyers men's soccer program will kick off the 2008 spring season with the annual Dayton Spring Tournament held at Baujan Field. The Flyers announced its spring schedule which kicks off on Saturday, April 5. UD will host the Ohio State Buckeyes at 12:15 p.m. ET, followed by the Bowling Green State Falcons at 2:45 p.m. ET. The two other games in the tournament feature Bowling Green against the Cincinnati Bearcats and Ohio State versus Cincinnati. The following day Dayton will host the Bradley Braves at Baujan Field beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET. UD will then hit the road for a two-game stretch in Charleston, West Virginia as the Flyers play against the Northern Kentucky Norse at 12:45 p.m. ET. The following game will take place at 2 p.m. ET as UD battles the Marshall Thundering Herd. On Sunday, April 13 the Flyers travel to Cincinnati to face the Bearcats at 2 p.m. ET. UD then wraps up the spring season on Saturday, April 19 at Akron with two road contests. The Flyers will face the Akron Zips in the first match at 5 p.m. ET followed by a game against Ohio Wesleyan at 6:20 p.m. ET. The Flyers finished last season 10-4-5 overall and advanced to the opening round of the 2007 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship.
