DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's soccer team opened its spring season with a 1-1 draw against the University of Louisville on a chilly Saturday afternoon at Baujan Field.

The Flyers got on the board forst in the 23rd minute when senior forward Oliver Condell (Sunrise, FL) was taken down a few yards outside the box. Junior midfielder Antti Arst (Talinn, Estonia) converted the ensuing free kick placing it just under the bar giving Dayton the 1-0 lead.

The Cardinals answered in the 66th minute when forward Frank Jonke dribbled past the Flyer defense and drove a low shot underneath UD goalkeeper Alex Davis to even the match at 1-1.

The Flyers return to action next Saturday at 1 p.m. when they face the Cincinnati Kings on Baujan Field.
