DAYTON, Ohio - University of Dayton head men's soccer coach Dennis Currier has announced his latest recruiting class for the upcoming season. Josh Albers, Alex Ramza, Matt Barnes, Sean Boyle, Brett Gregory and Jacob Milli have all made formal commitments to join the soccer program for the 2007-08 season.

"We are excited to add such quality student-athletes to our program. Each of these young men have demonstrated excellent success both on and off the field," said Coach Currier. "It is a very strong class that will help compliment our returning squad and fill some holes left by the departing seniors."

Josh Albers - Midfielder - Cincinnati, Ohio - LaSalle High School
Named All League (GMC) first team all four years at LaSalle...All State honoree sophomore through senior years...GCL Player of the Year...Named to All Region team senior year.

Club Experience: Member of Cincinnati United Premier... Two-time state champions...Tampa Bay Sun Bowl and Disney Showcase champions...Seven year member of ODP state team ...Member of ODP Region II team to play interregionals in California and Costa Rica.

Alex Ramza - Defender - St. Louis, MO - Chaminade College Preparatory
Four year letter-winner and three year varsity starter at Chaminade...Helped his team win the state championship his senior year and also helped his team to a second place state finish his freshman year...Named Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore...Was named Third Team Metro his senior year...Also served as co-captain for his team.

Club Experience: Member of Scott Gallagher Soccer Club who were national finalist (U17), third place, regional finalist in 2004 and regional champions in 2006...The team won state championships four years in a row (2003-'06).

Matt Barnes - Goalkeeper - Atlanta, Georgia - Marist High School
Four year letter-winner and three year varsity starter at Marist...Earned first team all area honors for Dekalb/Rockdale and Northside Metro Atlanta his junior year...In addition, his team won the state championship that year...Served as team captain his senior year...Lettered his senior year as a punter for high school football team.

Club Experience: Member of North Atlanta Soccer Association Club.

Sean Boyle - Forward - Sylvania, Ohio - St. John's Jesuit
Named First Team All District in 2005 at St. John's Jesuit...High school team also won district championship in 2006.

Club Experience: Member of Cleveland Internationals Club who were regional finalists in 2003...Won state championships three years in a row ('03-'05)...Was named to Super Y League Regional Team...Five year member of Ohio North State team.

Brett Gregory - Defender - West Chester, Ohio - Lakota East
Named High School All Region and All-State (second team) as a senior at Lakota East...Honored as All-Southwest Ohio First Team in 2006, All-League (GMC) first team ('06) and All-League (GMC) second team ('05)...In addition, earned All-City Honorable Mention in 2005 and 2005...Academic All-League all four years at Lakota.

Club Experience: Member of Cincinnati United Premier....Two-time state champions...Tampa Bay Sun Bowl and Disney Showcase champions...Elected as Captain of Club team at U15, U16, U17, and U18.

Jacob Milli - Defender - North Royalton, Ohio - Walsh Jesuit High School
Four year varsity starter at Walsh Jesuit...Member of team to win state championship in 2006...An All-District first team and RPC First Team Allstar pick....Earned Most Valuable Defender Award...Named Team Captain.

Club Experience:
Member of Cleveland Internationals Club...Ohio North Champions four years straight (2002-'05)...Regional Finalist in 2002 and Regional semifinalists in 2004.
