CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The postseason accolades continued for sophomores Alex Torda and Ryan Handbury as both were named to the 2007 NCAA Division I Men's All-Ohio First Team selected by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Coaches.

Last month Torda and Handbury earned selections to the 2007 NSCAA/adidas Division I All-Region, Mid-Atlantic Team. Torda garnered a First Team spot, while Handbury tallied Third Team honors.

Torda had been the Flyers' top scorer for most of the 2007 season. He led the team in goals with six, assists with five and points with 17.

Earlier this year Torda earned a First Team, All-Atlantic 10 selection. From the midfield position, Torda ranked tied for 10th in the A-10 in points per game at 0.89 and tied for eighth in goals per game.

Handbury had been one of the most consistent and durable defenders for UD over the previous two seasons. Handbury was one of three Flyers to start all 17 games in 2006 and scored a goal on eight shots and had an assist. This season, Handbury was one of four Flyers to have started in all 19 games.

On the defensive side Handbury helped solidify the back en route to six shutouts on the season. At one point in 2007, the Flyers did not allow a goal in their last 282:25 minutes of play, Dayton's longest stretch of the season.

Dayton finished the 2007 campaign 10-4-5 overall and advanced to the opening round of the 2007 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship.

The core of Dayton's lineup will return as all four members of the back are back and nine of the team's top 11 scorers also return.
