One of three players who started all 22 games for the Flyers...recorded three goals and one assist this season...scored the game-winning goal in UD's 4-3 win against Richmond (Oct. 10) bringing his career total to five game-winning goals, tied for seventh all-time at UD...finished four-year career with 63 games played, 13 goals, four assists and 30 points... selected to the NSCAA/adidas Scholar All-East Region Honorable Mention...named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for Spring 2009.
2007
Olwig finished tied for second on the team with 11 points...tallied five goals and an assist in 14 games...made nine starts and recorded two game-winning goals...battled back from a leg injury and started off the season red-hot...in his first appearance of the season, netted the game-winning goal over Eastern Illinois...came back the next game and added another game-winner in a 3-2 road triumph versus Butler...broke out of a six-game scoreless streak to add a goal versus Saint Joseph's...dished out the game-winning assist in a 1-0 victory against Temple...recorded a goal in the regular season finale against Duquesne...scored a second half goal over Massachusetts in the 2007 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship...Flyers finished the year 4-0-1 when Olwig scored a goal.

Appeared in 16 games with 12 starts...made his first collegiate start -- his first college appearance -- in UD's season open and scored the game-winning goal in the Flyers' 2-0 win over Marshall in the Dayton Marriott Flyer Classic...exploded for two goals and an assist for five points in UD's 6-2 romp over Evansville...scored the game-winning goal in the Flyers' win over St. Bonaventure off an indirect from Omar Jarun...picked up an assist in UD's 3-1 win in the Atlantic 10 Championship Quarterfinals against Charlotte.

His freshman team at Christian Brothers College High School went undefeated with a 22-0 season...captained the B Team his sophomore year campaign...as a senior, led CBC to the Missouri 4A Soccer State Championship as the team finished ranked fourth in the country...a National Honors Society member, Olwig graduated ninth in his class with a 4.1 GPA...a member of the Scott Gallagher Under 16 State Championship team in 2003 and also won the U.S. Club Soccer Regional and National Championships that year...in 2004, Scott Gallagher was the 2004 U-17 USYSA State, Regional, and National Champions, sweeping Nationals with a 4-0 record...Olympic Development experience with Missouri `87 State Team.
