The wily veteran came on strong down the stretch for the Flyers...finished the season tied for fourth in points with five thanks to two goals and an assist...slowed early on by an injury, Long appeared in 16 games and made eight starts...saw his first action against St. Francis (Pa.)...made his first start of the year at La Salle...converted two penalty kicks in the same half over Duquesne...the first penalty kick was his first career goal at Dayton...named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for his four-point performance...dished out an assist over Massachusetts in the 2007 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship.

As a graduated senior, Long played in and started 15 of UD's 17 games...named to the 2006-07 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll...had two assists on the season...ranked tied for second on the team in assists...made his Flyer debut against Northern Illinois...notched his first assist with the Flyers in a victory over IUPUI...added an assist at Duquesne...was on the field for all five Dayton shutouts.
