Dennis Currier named Nick Glaser an assistant coach for his University of Dayton men's soccer team on July 26, 2005. Glaser is the recruiting coordinator Region I and his other responsibilities include coordinating travel, video editing and scheduling. Glaser came to UD from Cumberland University where he was an assistant coach in 2003-2004. At Cumberland, Glaser worked with both the men's and women's team for the NAIA school in Lebanon, TN. His club soccer coaching experience includes serving as head coach of the Hendersonville Fever `93 team from 2001-2004, and the Hendersonville Fever '91 team from 2002-2003. A graduate of the University of Memphis in 2001, Glaser played for the Tigers for four years at midfielder and defender. He was named to the All-Conference Freshman team by Conference USA in 1997. Glaser holds a bachelor's of science degree in Marketing. Following graduation, Glaser joined the A-League's Nashville Metros, for the 2001 season, helping the club to the playoffs for the first time since 1998. He then moved on to the Cincinnati Riverhawks, where he led the team in minutes in both 2002 and 2003. |
