FLYERS IN SEVENTH AND TENTH PLACE AFTER TWO ROUNDS AT UD SPRING INVITATIONAL
April 23, 2006 Complete Results in PDF Format DAYTON, OH - The Flyers Men's Golf "A" Team is in seventh place and the "B" team is in 10th after the first two rounds of the UD Spring Invitational at Shaker Run Golf Club. Leading the way for the Flyers "B" team is junior Sam Morton, who is in a tie for eighth place after shooting a 76 in both rounds. For the "A" team, freshman Rob Chappell is in a tie for 14th after shooting a 75 in the first round and following it with a 79 in the second. Cleveland State University is in first place after day one, shooting a two round total of 602. Garrett Gosh from Wisconsin-Green Bay is the overall leader through two rounds, shooting a 74 in round one and a 70 in round two. His 70 is the low round of the tournament to this point. The tournament finishes up tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start for the final 18 holes. |
