HOPKINSVILLE, KY - The UD Men's Golf Team finished their fourth tournament of the season in a tie for 13th place, dropping one spot from yesterday. The two teams tied with Dayton are Wright State University and Tennessee State University. The team shot a respectable 304 for the final round, bringing their combined three round total to 902.

Freshman Kenny Wittenberg shot a six-over par 78, which was good enough to place him in a tie for 22nd place at the tournament. Rob Chappell turned in another solid performance, tallying a 75 for his final round play. Chappell tied for 39th place with fellow teammate Sam Morton. Morton also finished play with a 3-over par 75 and shot a combined 225 for the three round intercollegiate match.

In a tie for 80th place was fellow Flyer John Zaller. Zaller shot a respectable 76 for his third round play and a 236 for the tournament. Rounding out competition for the men's team was sophomore Mitch Custenborder who finished in 87th place.

The Flyers return to action in the Western Carolina Intercollegiate Golf Championship on November 4th.
