Sophomore Zach Glassman shot a team-best 72 in the third round of the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate

    CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Behind a third round even-par 72 from sophomore Zach Glassman the Dayton Flyers capped the 2008 fall season finishing in a tie for seventh at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate.

    Glassman finished the tournament tied for 27th among individuals after previously shooting a 76 and 71.

    Senior Rob Chappell closed out the season well finishing the invite in a tie for 11th overall. After shooting a 70 and 68 in the first two rounds, Chappell tallied a 76 in round three.

    Finishing in a tie for 43rd among individuals was sophomore Jeff Hodapp who shot a 73 in round three. Hodapp finished with a 223 total after shooting a 74 and 76 in his previous two rounds.

    Senior Mitch Custenborder added a third round 78 to complete the tournament with a 231 total. Senior Mark Juve carded his best score in round three with a 75 and finished one stroke behind Custenborder for the tournament.

    UD as a team shot a 296 in round three and an 883 total.

    Dayton will begin the 2009 Spring Season in March.
