    WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - Sophomore Rob Chappell shot a final round 70 to lead the Dayton Flyers to an eighth place finish at the 2007 Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship.

    Chappell put rounds of 69-75-70 to finish with a 214, good for 12th overall.

    Right behind Chappell was freshman Kenny Wittenberg who tallied a final round 75 to finish in a tie for 30th.

    Sophomore Mitch Custenborder closed out the season on a high note as well recording a 74 in the final round. Custenborder finished the tournament tied for 37th with a total of 228.

    Senior John Zaller shot a final round 73 to wind up fourth on the team and tied for 40th overall. Classmate Sam Morton added his best finish of the tournament with a 75 to wind up tied for 48th. It's the final collegiate tournament for Zaller and Morton in their UD careers.

    Dayton as a team shot a 292 in round three to finish with an overall score of 895. It's the second consecutive year the Flyers have finished in eighth at the A-10 Championship.
