DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton, in conjunction with website host CBS College Sports, unveiled a brand new, redesigned DaytonFlyers.com.

The new DaytonFlyers.com will present a much cleaner look, consolidating site navigation and upgrading many of the site's internal pages. While the main redesign launched Tuesday, internal updates and additional features will continue to be added throughout the year.

"Our official website is the most complete and timely source of information for Dayton Flyer fans," said UD Vice President and Director of Athletics Ted Kissell said. "It is also a critical piece in our marketing efforts, particularly in attracting student-athletes."

Following is a quick look at some of the highlights coming in the new DaytonFlyers.com:

  • Improved navigation, graphics and design that enable users move about the site quicker and easier.
  • Enhanced Dayton All-Access section with more video content, press conferences, coaches' TV shows, team highlights, one-on-one interviews and more.
  • Wider photos with large lead story pictures on the front page and in various sections of the site.
  • Updated news, stories, and statistics about all aspects of UD intercollegiate athletics.
  • Ticket buttons will be prominently featured throughout the site, alerting fans about upcoming sale dates.

    The site is built on a new platform that is designed to better serve users in the broadband environment. The redesign includes more prominent video placement to complement content and interactive tools that enable users to view photos, videos and stories.

    DaytonFlyers.com will continue to receive CBS College Sports' industry-leading suite of online and new media solutions which includes the new custom design, Dayton All-Access multimedia platform, wireless alerts, ticketing, and GameTracker.

    CBS College Sports (formerly CSTV) is a leader in collegiate Web site hosting, providing more than 215 official athletic sites for colleges and universities around the nation. CBS College Sports has operated UD's official athletic website since 2005.
