AT DAYTON: A 2005 starter, Wrobleski led the Flyers in receiving with 52 catches for a total of 919 yards. He was also credited with 11 carries for 188 yards and two punt returns for 87 yards. He also had nine touchdowns and four tackles. Although he played for the team least likely to throw the ball in the pass-happy Pioneer Football League, Wrobleski was first in the PFL in receiving yards (91.9 per game) and second in receptions per game (5.20). He was named First Team All-Pioneer Football League and was given an Honorable Mention from Football Gazette for their I-AA Mid-Major All-America Team. Wrobleski had a breakout season in 2004, and was rewarded by being named Second Team All-Pioneer Football League. His 46 catches in 10 games that season more than doubled the number of receptions he had in 2003 in 11 games (19). He had 46 of UD's 104 receptions (44.2%), 840 of UD's 1,520 receiving yards (55.3%) and six of the Flyers' nine aerial touchdowns (66.7%) in 2004. He caught at least two passes in every game in 2004 (at least three in nine). His breakout game was the Morehead State win, where he had seven receptions for 203 yards and two TD's. As a sophomore, Wrobleski was UD's second-leading receiver, catching 19 passes for 279 yards (14.7 avg.) with four TD's. He played two games as a freshman with no receptions. In addition to his receiving duties, Wrobleski is projected to be UD's lead punt returner this season. A Detroit native, Wrobleski wore #6 his first two seasons, but changed his number to #1 entering his junior year, following in the University of Michigan tradition of anointing the top Wolverine pass-catcher with #1.
