AT DAYTON: Wimberly is projected to be UD's #1 tailback in 2005. He played in eight games. He was fifth on the team in rushing with 35 carries for 217 yards and four touchdowns. He also made one catch, had one kick return and made one tackle. Wimberly lettered in 2004 after playing in seven games and gaining 100 yards in 21 carries (4.8 avg.). He had 10 carries for 39 yards in 2003.

PERSONAL: Son of Greg and Sandra Wimberly...Born on September 12, 1985...Majoring in Industrial Engineering...He was a two-sport athlete in high school, playing football and basketball. He was captain of the football squad.
