2004: After backing up Jared McQuiston at middle guard last year, Warren looks to start alongside him in 2004. Warren has impressed the coaches in earning his two letters enough that McQuiston is moving to tackle to get both on the field. Warren came to UD as a fullback, but has taken his athleticism across the line to middle guard. Robert Christy, one of the best middle guards in UD history, made the same move in the late `80's. It's not as strange a transition as you might think. Warren was also an outstanding wrestler, finishing in the top six at the 215 weight class in the state. Last year Warren played in all 11 games, and was credited with 15 tackles, two hits in the backfield and a quarterback pressure. As a sophomore, he earned his first letter by playing in 10 games. He was in on 12 hits, with a tackle in the backfield. He also had one QB pressure.

PERSONAL Son of David and Joni Warren...Born on June 17, 1982...Majoring in Marketing...In football for St. Charles High School, he was selected first team all-conference and First Team All-Central Ohio. His brother Mark plays football at John Carroll.
