AT DAYTON: In 2008, Ward saw time in all 12 games for the Flyers. He pulled in 14 receptions for 264 yards, and added a touchdown on the season. Ward redshirted the 2007 season. He was a member of the 2007 and 2008 PFL Academic Honor Rolls.

PERSONAL: Ward was a three-sport athlete, playing football, basketball, and track at Licking Heights High School. He was first team all-conference and First Team All-Central Ohio in all three sports as well. He graduated in his senior class' top five and was a member of National Honor Society.
